MR. VANCE'S NEWS TO USE THIS WEEK
FEBRUARY 26, 2021
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have made it 3½ quarters of the school year! What a celebration, and it is hard to believe that the 2020-2021 will be entering the last quarter soon. After all this snow, I am looking forward to spring and getting outside on a more consistent basis.
After serving St. Ignatius for 34 years, I am announcing that Mrs. Laura Sieve has decided to retire at the end of the school year. She has served this community in the classroom for 20 years and as an administrator for 14 years. In addition, she attended school here as a child and has been a long time faithful parishioner. I am sad for us but very happy for her and wish her the only the best. I have truly valued and enjoyed my time with her these past three years. Her care and compassion for children is always evident. She is committed to St. Ignatius, she demonstrates compassion in her interactions with students and adults, and most of all she is a dedicated and faith filled person. Please join me in celebrating with Laura!
St. Ignatius prides itself on providing a remarkable faith filled academic experience for our students. We have attached the list of scholarships that out current 8th graders have been awarded to this Wire. This list represents $1.5 million dollars in awards to help defray
the costs of tuition. We are very proud of the Class of 2021! Please join us in celebrating their many successes.
Quarter 3 midterm reports were emailed this week. If you did not receive one, please contact the office and we will resend it.
These are unprecedented times, but we are resilient.
These are challenging times, but we are hopeful.
These are stressful times,
but we place our trust in Christ to carry us through.
Please continue to keep all St. Ignatius students, staff, and families in your thoughts and prayers.
In Christ's Peace,
Kevin Vance
Principal
