MR. VANCE'S NEWS FOR THE WEEK
NOVEMBER 19, 2021
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we enter Thanksgiving Day week, I want to thank you for choosing St. Ignatius for your child’s spiritual formation and academic development. We are very grateful for the many sacrifices families make so that their children can attend our school. During this week, I will offer a special prayer of Thanksgiving for you. May you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with great food, family time, and fun.
I continue to lift you, our families, up in prayer every day. Please continue to pray for the students, staff, and benefactors of this school. It is a source of strength and support.
In Christ’s Peace,
Kevin Vance
Principal
A Thanksgiving Reflection
Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude to God, our Creator and Provider,
whose guidance and care go before us...and whose love is with us forever.
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the changes,
to remember that we, too, grow and change
from one season of life to another.
Thanksgiving is a time of changing seasons,
when leaves turn golden in Autumn's wake and apples are crisp
in the first chill breezes of fall.
Let us remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
As we see the beauty of Autumn,
let us acknowledge the many blessings which are ours...
let us think of our families and friends..and let us give thanks in our hearts.
