Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we enter the last week of April, we are in the final few weeks of the school year! We have many fun activities scheduled including Olympic Day, the Health and Safety Fair, and the iWalk. We will also celebrate the Class of 2022 with their graduation on Friday, May 20. As it warms up, it will be harder and harder to concentrate, but we are committed to providing remarkable lessons and learning through the end of the year.
During these 50 days of Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. From Easter Sunday until Pentecost, the Church celebrates this most important holiday. Easter is not just one day but a whole season! A few ideas of how to celebrate with your family can be found here, at 50 Celebrations of Easter. I know it may be difficult to do all of these, but even doing a few will enrich the Easter experience for your child and instill the importance of this season. I hope you have some fun participating in some of these events.

I continue to lift you and all St. Ignatius families in prayer every day. Please continue to pray for the staff, students, and benefactors of this school, and a special prayer for our students preparing for First Communion and those getting ready to graduate from St. Ignatius. May you and your family feel Jesus’ presence every day.

FINAL TUITION PAYMENTS
EIGHTH GRADE:
As the school year is ending, tuition must be paid in full for the eighth grade by May 6, in order for students to receive their report cards, and to have their records sent to the high schools.
PRE-K THROUGH SEVENTH GRADE:
Tuition for Pre-K through seventh grade must be paid by May 13. Unfortunately, if it is not paid, we will not be able to email report cards, or class placements for next year.

LIBRARY UPDATE!
The library will be open for a few more weeks until mid May before closing for the year. Parents,please start looking around for any library books you know your child still needs to return to school. If you know a book is lost, a letter will be sent home with instructions on how to reimburse school for the library book. Thanks!

The St. Ignatius Athletic Association has switched to Sports Engine for sign-ups. Please visit www.saintiaa.org to register for fall sports.

HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
LaSALLE AND PRIDE OF LaSALLE MARCHING BAND
La Salle High School and The Pride of La Salle Marching Band are hosting two game nights for interested students. Bring yourself and/or bring a friend for a fun evening of games, music, friends, and pizza. Meet current members and see how much fun marching band can be. Open to all 7th and 8th grade students, boys and girls welcome. It’s ok to be “green” we can teach you an instrument or how to spin a flag. Thursday April 28th and Friday May 13th, 6:00-8:30 in the De La Salle Band room. We look forward to meeting you.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY, APRIL 24
Please join us for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following noon Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 24. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be sung at 3:00pm followed by a witness talk from Sr. Faustina with the Children of Mary. Confession will be offered from 1:00-4:00pm with benediction at 4:00pm.
Divine Mercy Gifts will be available at the doors of church on Sunday. **One gift per family, please!
