Dear Parents and Guardians,
I want to extend a HUGE thank you to our Halloween committee! They once again did an amazing job! Thank you, also, to all of the party volunteers and everyone who made Halloween such a memorable day for our students!
It is hard to believe we are already in November! So much is happening this month, and the holidays are right around the corner. Next week is Vocations Awareness Week. We will have special morning announcements, prayers, and signs/posters throughout the building. We are asking our families to pray for vocations, as well as talk about them at home with your children. Parent/teacher conferences will also take place this month on November 9 and 15. The Sign-up Genius is currently live, but will close Monday at 9:00am for the November 9 conferences, and will close November 10 at 9:00am for the November 15 conferences.
**Jr. high parents, please remember that you may sign up for only two conferences with teachers. If you need to discuss an issue with more teachers, please reach out to them directly to set up a time.
We are excited to welcome 28 French students and three chaperones from Nancy, France, next week. Their plane will arrive Tuesday late afternoon and they will spend time here at school and with their host families until November 17. Our St. Ignatius student hosts and their parents have some great activities planned for our visitors, and we are very grateful to be able to continue this relationship!
As we enter this month of gratitude, please know we are so thankful for our students and St. Ignatius families. We continue to lift you, our families, up in prayer every day. Please continue to pray for the staff, students, and benefactors of our school. It is a source of strength and support.

Congratulations to Trupartner of the Month, presented by TruPartner Credit Union, St. Ignatius School and Trupartner of the Month, Reagan R.! Reagan is always thinking of a way to make her teacher, or any teacher for that matter, smile. She listens carefully and takes her listening to another level of care. She purposely makes cards or draws pictures to brighten teacher's days! She delivers them secretly so the receiver is surprised! She truly is one of the most thoughtful children on planet Earth! Way to go Reagan and keep up the great work! Reagan will receive a $100 tuition credit and a gift from TruPartner Credit Union!

Our November Spirit Day Outreach (prayers and dollar donation) will also go to the people of McCreary County. Our dollar donations will be used to buy Kroger gift cards, which, along with the NEW toys, will be taken to them.

NEW COORDINATORS NEEDED!
As we prepare to welcome new and familiar classes and instructors back into the building, we still need help for this program to stay alive. PTO is seeking 2 to 3 new coordinators to take over After School Enrichment for the 2024/2025 school year. Now is a perfect time for anyone interested in this role to see what it's all about! CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE
ST. IGNATIUS STAFF
Each year, the PTO collects donations from families towards the gifts for ALL of the St. Ignatius staff, which includes teachers, specialists, music, physical education, art, nurse, cafeteria, aides, office and administrative staff. All contributions are pooled together and staff are able to select gift cards from the Raise Right program with the money collected, which is greatly appreciated! The staff works tirelessly to ensure our students are learning and are safe! Let's really show them how much we appreciate them and all they do for our children! This is an easy and great way to give a gift to ALL involved in your child’s education. If you want to give your own gifts, that is also fine, participation is voluntary. These gift cards will be presented to the faculty and staff with a box of candy on the last day of school before Christmas break.
**Pre-labeled envelopes came home with your child this week. If you plan to contribute, please send your family donation (cash/check) to school in these envelopes by TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21.
**Please write your child’s/children’s name(s) on the envelope along with the grade(s) and send it to school. Cash or checks are encouraged and checks should be payable to: St. Ignatius PTO.

CONGRATS FIRST AND SECOND GRADE BOYS SOCCER!
1st and 2nd grade soccer won their league! They were runners up in the post-season tournament after losing in triple overtime in the finals. They will now be playing in the State Tournament! Paco Patag is a homeschool graduate and an alumnus of Cincinnati State Community College, the University of Cincinnati, and the Saint John Leadership Institute. He presently serves as the Associate Director of Young Adult Evangelization for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, with a passionate focus on empowering young adults to respond to their unique and unrepeatable vocation in and through the local Church. Along with books and music, Paco always enjoys conversations at the intersection of mission, vocation, entrepreneurship, and living an integrated life, especially around a fire or on a good hike.
