ADear Parents and Guardians,

Happy December! During the month of December, we will focus on the Virtue of Purity for our Virtues in Practice program. Purity is defined as "Keeping your soul free of sin." Students and staff will come to better understand how to live out this virtue through the examples of St. Dominic Savio, St. Agnes, and St. Maria Goretti.

Parents and guardians will receive first-trimester report cards for all grade levels this weekend. If you did not receive it by email, please log into Alma and check under each child. If you have questions about a specific grade or comment, please contact that teacher directly. If you do not see a report card in your email or Alma by Monday, please contact the office and we will assist you.

On Wednesday this week, our students had the opportunity to experience our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament during a Eucharistic Procession. All of our students gave reverence as Fr. Tran processed with the Blessed Sacrament through the school halls. After the procession, our middle school students had time to spend with Jesus during Adoration and Benediction back in the church. The whole experience was very moving for our students and staff and it was a most intimate encounter with Christ.

This Sunday begins the first week of Advent. Let us all take time during this busy season to prepare our hearts for the coming of our Lord. May Advent 2023 be a season for us to be sincerely grateful for all that we have.

ENRICHMENT NEWS

ATTENTION 6th, 7th and 8th GRADERS!
You are invited to play handbells and chimes for the 3:00pm Christmas Eve Mass in the Community Center this year. Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday, December 6 and December 13 from 1:15-1:50pm and December 20 from 1:00-2:00pm in Loyola Hall.

If you are interested in playing in this ensemble, please contact Patty Stretch at 513-661-6565 or just come to the first rehearsal on December 6.

PARISH GIVING TREE
The 8th grade Girl Scouts are coordinators for the annual Giving Tree. All are invited to participate in this Christmas service project, which benefits various pregnancy centers, seniors, and underserved children and families in our area. Ornaments and gifts need to be returned under the trees with the specified gifts by noon Mass on Sunday, December 10. Thank you for your generosity and continued commitment to this cause.

TOUR OF CATHOLICISM

LATIN MASS BY BRAD MACKE, DECEMBER 5

One of the requested topics for the Tour of Catholicism this year was the Latin Mass. Brad Macke will be teaching on Latin Mass on Tuesday, December 5 from 7:00-8:30pm in the Ignatius Center across the street, at 5212 North Bend Road.
