Dear Parents and Guardians,
This week we started the third trimester of the 23-24 school year. Trimester 2 report cards are being sent home this weekend via email. If you have not received one by Monday, please contact the office and we will resend it to you.
Our 6th graders went to Camp Joy this week. For three days, the students engaged in leadership and team-building activities, pioneer life, survival skills, hiking, and a campfire! This outdoor education is a remarkable experience for the students and staff to learn about themselves and each other. One activity they can do is tackle a high ropes course where they participate by choice. While on the course, they encounter various obstacles, and they need to problem-solve how to best get past the obstacle. Their fellow classmates cheer them on from the ground. It was an amazing experience for all!
Please keep our staff and students flying to France tomorrow in your prayers. We are headed out for 10 days for our foreign exchange program with Notre Dame Saint Sigisbert, in Nancy, France. We are excited to visit our French friends who were here this past fall, learn about their culture, and explore the city of Nancy!
Look for a separate email and letter from me concerning tuition rates for the 2024-2025 school year.
Please join me in praying that this school year is filled with wonder and awe for our students. May all of our students, parents, staff, alumni, and friends feel God’s loving presence now and always.

LOST AND FOUND
WILL BE CLEARED OUT OVER EASTER BREAK
All items left in the Lost and Found before Easter break at will be donated to various charities. It is located outside the gym by the Boomer Road door. Parents are welcome to sign in and check the area for any lost items! There are numerous water bottles, coats, jackets, lunchboxes, eye glasses, uniform pants and sweats, and more!

BLESSED FREDERIC OZANAM: SUBSIDIARY AND THE ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST BY ALISON ZLATIC, SVdP PRESIDENT

Come join other adult parishioners on Thursday, March 21 at 7:00pm in Loyola Hall for our Mosaic presentation given by Alison Zlatic, SVdP Cincinnati District Council President. Alison is the District Council President for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Cincinnati and a Vincentian at Nativity parish. She received her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton, having first completed her undergraduate work in Secondary Education at UD. She began her career as a Jesuit volunteer working in a homeless shelter for single adults and then joined the Lalanne program at UD where she taught social studies and theology. She has studied material poverty domestically and internationally through the lens of faith in Cincinnati, Detroit, Bridgeport, CT, Philadelphia, Appalachia, South Dakota, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Haiti. She was a member of the team that created the Ozanam Center for Service Learning at St. Vincent de Paul and has a particular passion for the issue of affordable housing. She and her husband, Paul live in Pleasant Ridge with their five young boys, father-in-law and 20 chickens!

Project 5000 is a program based on the Gospel story of Jesus multiplying 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish into enough food to serve 5000 people. Bags which contain lists of needed items will be available at the doors of church on Palm Sunday and can be dropped off before/during Mass on Holy Thursday or in the back of church throughout the week. Thank you so much for your support of our neighbors in Over the Rhine who need our help!

Ushers serve for about an hour and fifteen minutes during a weekend Mass of their choice. It is an excellent way to meet people and follow Christ's example of serving others. Please consider becoming an Usher Coordinator. This would include managing the usher schedule for weekend and feast day/special Masses to ensure ushers are present, communicate any special instructions/ changes with ushers, and manage annual October Mass count, and attend monthly Worship Commission meetings.
