Dear Parents and Guardians,

Today could not have been a more perfect day for the IWalk! THANK YOU so much for all those who helped pull it all together and a HUGE THANK YOU to all who donated! This is such a great way to help our school, build community, and have lots of FUN! These are my favorite types of days to interact with the students! It has been a great day!

Wednesday evening we celebrated our 8th graders with their Graduation from St. Ignatius. The class Salutatorian, McKenzie I., and the Valedictorian, Amanda C., led prayer and addressed their classmates with very inspirational words. At the end of Mass, the graduates received their certificates and then enjoyed a celebration with their families. Congratulations to the Class of 2024! They are now one of over 5700 alumni of St. Ignatius. Please see the attached flyer for a complete list of awards and recipients.

IWalk Total - We made it!!

Thank you does not seem like enough to express my gratitude to all who helped us reach our iWalk goal! As of yesterday afternoon, we were pretty far behind our goal and I was nervous we may not make it! But never fear, this community always comes through! We ended up with just over $20,000, and actually some more was coming in as I was typing! Thank you all so so much!
Students may be out of uniform for the remainder of the year. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their Lily Strong shirts on Monday, June 3, and Tuesday is the standard out of uniform "rules." Wednesday is Olympic Day attire (class shirt) and Thursday (our last day) students will again be in their class shirts.

Please pray that as we end our school year that our students, parents, staff, alumni, and friends continue to see God in all things and do “all things for the greater glory of God.”

END OF SCHOOL MASS

Our end of the year all-school Mass is next Thursday, June 6, at 9:15am. Please understand that due to fire code, the Mass is for students and staff only. The circle song (weather permitting) will take place outside on campus so guests can watch. Details to come next week!

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FACTS***

Everyone has recently received information regarding our new tuition program FACTS, and a copy of Mrs. Heisel's letter is attached to this Wire.

**Please note that your enrollment at St. Ignatius Loyola School is not complete until your payment plan with FACTS has been established.

**All families need to set up their payment plan by June 21. If you enroll after that date, there will be less payment plan options to choose from and may result in a higher monthly payment amount.

**Enrollment in a FACTS payment plan is required for ALL families, even those receiving full EdChoice.

The amounts listed may not reflect all financial aid awards or other credits as these will not be available until September. If you have questions about the amount due, please contact Mrs. McErlane-Miller (Mrs. M&M) in the school office at 513-389-3242 or emcerlane-miller@saintischool.org

TUITION AND FEES

Just a friendly reminder that all fees (cafeteria, before and after care, field trips, retreats, etc..) and tuition balances need to be paid in full prior to the last day of school in order for report cards to be distributed on the last day. Any fees/tuition paid after dismissal on the last day may have up to a two-business day wait before report cards are emailed.

CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION (CEF) GRANT

If you received a grant from the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) for the 2024-2025 school year, please send a copy of your award letter to the school office. CEF grants will be checked for verification with the CEF office before being recorded as credits in FACTS.

2024-2025 EDCHOICE AWARD AMOUNTS

The Ohio State Department of Education is in the process of accepting and awarding NEW EdChoice applications. We expect RENEWALS to begin being awarded within the next month.

If you have not turned in your NEW application or RENEWAL for the 2024-2025 school year, please do so as soon as possible. The sooner we can get these processed, the sooner we can determine what will be deducted from your tuition total, as well as financial aid in FACTS.

SIBLINGS. (Per ODE) "If you have a child that is currently receiving the EdChoice Expansion scholarship, you are not required to provide your income verification documents for a new child for the FY25 school year unless you want to be considered for low-income status, 200% or below the Federal poverty guidelines."

** The Ohio State Department of Education just published the new award scale for income eligibility for the 2024-2025 school year. You can find that here: 2024-2025 Ed Choice Income Eligibility Award Scale. Any questions about EdChoice should be directed to Ms. Thomas in the school office, edchoice@saintischool.org or 513-389-3242.

If you are RENEWING, you do not have to redo income verification. Please see the attached flyer for 2024-2025 Expansion scholarship amounts.

TUITION REFUND UPDATE

If you overpaid for 2023-2024 tuition, please reach out to Barb Campbell in the parish office at 513-661-6565 X2705. We need to know if we should issue a refund check, or if we should apply this to next year's tuition.

"A huge thank you to Chrissy Davis, Stephanie Beck and Christina Grotkin for launching and sustaining the successful 365 Raffle fundraiser. Over the last four years, their hard work has raised over $515,000, for the benefit of St. Ignatius school, its faculty, staff and most importantly, its students! Thank you to our outgoing coordinators, as well as our school and church community for supporting this important fundraiser! The 365 Raffle will be back next school year with some exciting changes, new prizes, and a bigger goal!

CARDINAL SCHOOL SUPPLIES

The PTO is again offering the option to purchase school supplies for grades 1-8 through Cardinal. This is an optional program and is not mandatory. You can order throughout the summer, but prices go up in early June. There will be a date in August to pick up supplies at school if you want them before the start of the year, otherwise they will be placed in the student's homeroom for the first day of school.

OLYMPIC DAY 2024
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5
St. Ignatius Olympic Day is back, and we are excited to have over 90 volunteer spots for parents to join in this fun day! Please review important information below.

2. Please park in the parking lot in FRONT of church.
3. Opening ceremonies begin at 9:00am in the courtyard. Closing ceremonies are at 2:30pm on the hill near the concession stand.
4. Dress code: Students should wear I-walk shirt. Shorts should be appropriate in length and fit.
5. Put sunscreen on your child’s faces, necks, and arms. They will be outside all day!

6. Please make sure names are on all water bottles.
7. Dismissal: If a student will be leaving with a parent prior to normal 3:30pm dismissal, a note must be sent to the homeroom teacher on the DAY BEFORE Olympic Day.
8. All students MUST have a bag lunch! DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED!
9. The concession stand will serve as the Olympic Day headquarters.
10. Pray for sunshine! Come out and help cheer for the kids!

**Parents are free to visit for a short time if they wish. Please be mindful that parking is limited.

2024 ANNUAL SOCCER SUMMER SKILLS CLINIC

St. Ignatius will be hosting a Soccer Summer Skills Clinic on Tuesday, July 9 through Thursday, July 11, from 6:30-7:45pm on the lower fields. Cost is $40 per child.

WILDCAT NIGHT AT THE FCC GAME, THURSDAY, AUGUST 1 AT 8:00pm

All St. Ignatius families and friends are invited to attend a fun night at TQL stadium with FC Cincinnati. FCC will be playing Liga MX team Querétaro in their first game of the Leagues Cup on Thursday, August 1 at 8:00pm. It's a great way to spend time with friends for an action packed game!

Tickets are being sold at a discounted rate of $22 each and will be located in section 105, and you can order a maximum of 10 tickets per family. You must have a SeatGeek account for us to transfer your purchased tickets to you for this game. We will reach out to those who purchase tickets at a later date to get your SeatGeek account information in order to transfer your tickets to you before August 1.

The last day to purchase tickets will be June 15. However, once we hit 200 tickets sold, ticket sales may close then due to the number of seats being held for us by TQL for this event.
