If Covid 19 affects your family, we ask that you contact our school nurse, Mrs. Kathy Reder. Please let her know if someone in your family has tested positive or that they have been quarantined due to an exposure to the virus. Cases are skyrocketing in our community, and we are asking that you continue to wear masks, social distance, stay home if you are sick, and follow all the rules around sports activities. It is imperative that we do not let our guard down. Please stay away from social gatherings and if you must go, wear your mask and keep social distancing measures in place. We must protect our students, staff and families, especially those at high risk for serious complications. Thank you SO much for your continued diligence in this matter.

CONGRATS SHORT STORY AUTHOR SAM B!
Congratulations to the immensely talented fifth-grade writer Sam B. for placing second in The News-o-matic Spook-tacular Short Story Contest. His inventive and creative piece was selected among writers all over the United States and Canada as one of the top pieces. It was published on News-o-Matic’s site and read by many people.Congrats to this young writer who is setting the writing world ablaze! Keep it up, Sam!

CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE
ST. IGNATIUS FACULTY AND STAFF
Each year, the PTO collects donations from families towards the gifts for ALL of the St. Ignatius staff, which includes teachers, specialists, music, physical education, art, nurse, cafeteria staff, aides, office and administrative staff. All contributions are pooled together and staff are able to select gift cards from the TRP program with the money collected, which is greatly appreciated! Especially this year, the faculty and staff are working tirelessly to ensure our students are in the building, are safe, and are learning! Let's really show them how much we appreciate them and all they do for our children! This is also a great way to give a gift to ALL involved in your child’s education. Participation is voluntary, and If you want to give individual gifts, that is also fine.

If you plan to contribute, please send your donation to school in these envelopes by Monday, December 7. TRP AND RAISERIGHT BONUS REBATES

PACK 850 ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE

Help donate to those in need! Pack 850 will be accepting canned food and non-perishable items from November 16-20. Donations will be taken to St. Martin’s Food Pantry. Boxes will be at each entry of the school, and you can drop your items off before going inside.

St. Ignatius Parish invites families with young children to celebrate Advent together at our Happy Birthday, Jesus Event on Sunday, December 6 in the Ignatius Center. Families will choose staggered start times to help prevent overcrowding and allow time to clean between groups. Masks are required for this event!
Our theme this year is "Christmas Around the World". Please review the available slots at Happy Birthday, Jesus Event sign up and reserve a video time for your family! Please indicate your children's names and ages in the comment section of the sign up. SPACE IS LIMITED!

These monthly packages will be reserved for your family in the parish office lobby so that you can pick them up on your way into Mass once a month.
